The Lone Star Dalily Society announces that the following rules will apply to all Sections of the Flower Show:
1. The Show will be held under the rules of the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS). Exhibition privileges are available to the members of Lone Star Daylily Society, members of the American Hemerocallis Society, and any person interested in the development and improvement of the genus Hemerocallis.
2. Only AHS members are eligible to win AHS Rosettes, and other society sponored awards. Exhibitors who are not AHS members may join at the show.
3. Entries will be received at the Show Site Saturday. May 19, 2007 between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. At 10:45 a.m., entries will only be accepted from those standing in line for classification. In no case will an entry be accepted if it cannot be classified and placed prior to 11:00 a.m. whether that person was in line or not, and may be entered FOR DISPLAY ONLY and will not be judged. No entry may be removed before 4:00 p.m. Exhibits not removed before 4:15 p.m. may be discarded. Ribbon awards not claimed at this time will be made available at the next regularly scheduled Society meeting.
4. Uniform containers for daylilies on-scape and official AHS entry tags are furnished by Lone Star Daylily Society.
5. Only members of the Placement Committee are permitted to place entries in the exhibition/display area.
6. Judging will commence at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007. Only Judges, Clerks, Show Chirpersons, Judges Chairperson, Classification Chairperson, and Photographer will be allowed in the exhibition/display area during judging.
7. All reasonable care will be taken; however, the Lone Star Daylily Society, any member, or any judge will not be held responsible for damage or loss of property belonging to any exhibitor.
